Ryszard Biernat
A graduate of the AWF in Warsaw, expert in motor rehabilitation. Experienced physiotherapist, lecturer, author of a book on injury prevention in sports.
A graduate of the Józef Piłsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw with a specialization in physical education with a specialization in motor rehabilitation. In 2008 he obtained a doctorate degree in motor rehabilitation. In the years 1978-84 Ryszard Biernat was responsible for the rehabilitation and biological renewal of the Polish men's handball team. He participated in the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 and the World Championships in Dortmund in 1982, where the Polish national team won the bronze medal. From 1985 to 2004, he worked in the UAE as a physiotherapist responsible for the rehabilitation of football players of league teams, as well as the UAE national team. He has worked with coaches such as Antoni Piechniczek, Jan Tomaszewski, Bernard Blaut and Piet Hamberg. In 2005, he was hired as the head of the Center for Physical Rehabilitation at the Olsztyn Higher School. He is also a scientific and didactic worker as an assistant professor and lecturer in subjects related to physiotherapy: kinesiology, biomechanics and pathobiomechanics. Dr. Ryszard Biernat is the creator and originator of the Centre for Sport and Rehabilitation Biernat. He currently runs a company under the name Ruch i Rehabilitacja. He is the author of the first book in Poland on the prevention of injuries in sport entitled “Prewencja wrazów w netkówka”.
